Dismissed was inspired by a movie scene. I just loved the simplicity of the figure sitting in the window seat just glaring at her friend as if to “dismiss”. I don’t often do figures anymore even though my life-drawing teacher in college told me I was gifted. He would be very disappointed that I left off the hands and feet as most students and illustrators do. He’d say that it lacked confidence. He would be right.
